Overview
Water Technology was commissioned by Adelaide Aqua to develop a hydrodynamic model of the Gulf St Vincent. The modelling investigation is being undertaken in order to gain an improved understanding of the complex hydrodynamic processes which occur in the LCC with a view to informing improved management decision making in the future.
A field data collection program was developed to capture the fundamental hydrodynamic of the system, the water level, temperature and conductivity was measured at several locations in the near vicinity of the LCC. Bathymetric survey information was collected and used with LIDAR data.
