Water Technology has extensive in-house capability with a focus on technical excellence in the management of surface water and associated natural resources.
With one of the largest pools of state-of-the-art two and three dimensional hydrodynamic modelling software in Australia we are well equipped to provide the highest levels of service. Our software includes multiple licences
of the leading DHI “MIKE” series of hydrodynamic and
water quality modelling tools, as well as the advanced RMA 2D/3D series
of finite element models, TUFLOW and the US Army Corp HEC series of software.
Our staff also have an excellent working background
in Delft Software.
Water
Technology has extensive experience in customised model development
and interface programming. This includes the development of data
processing and GIS interfacing software that can be customised
to individual client or project needs.
Complementing the numerical modelling component of the business Water Technology also maintains specialist teams assessing and managing natural resources and urban water quality. Our in-house skills include ecology, geomorphology, hydrological modelling and a demonstrated track record in engineering design.
With this capability,
Water Technology has access to the tools necessary for modelling
of the full range of environmental hydraulic and water quality
problems, assessing the implications on ecological and river processes and providing solutions through assessment and detailed design.
Where projects
require specialist skills not available in-house,
Water Technology has established relationships with a range of specialist consultants including
ocean and earth scientists, aquatic ecologists, media/communication consultants and surveyors.
Water Technology has offices in Melbourne, Wangarata and Brisbane.
